The Aspen Police Department’s response to a domestic violence call Sunday led to the arrest of a man on two misdemeanor charges stemming from the alleged incident. Police also believe the same suspect may have fired gunshots in his neighborhood earlier in the week.
Christopher R. Distefano, 40, was booked into the Pitkin County Jail shortly after 5 a.m. Monday, according to court records. He was released in the afternoon on a personal recognizance bond.
