KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Once again, vandals targeted the famous Dolly Parton mural in the Strong Alley Graffiti Gallery in Downtown Knoxville over the weekend.
Megan Lingerfelt — the artist behind the Dolly mural in the alley — said someone added smoke to the mouth of the singer.
Credit: WBIR Friday night, the Dolly Parton mural in Strong Alley was vandalized with a painting of smoke on the singer's lips.
However, the mural is now as good as new. After several vandalizations over the past few years, Dogwood Arts has treated the mural with an anti-graffiti coating that allows for the easy removal of any unsanctioned additions.
