LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured Monday evening in the northeast valley.

Police told FOX5 it happened in the 2400 block of Gateway Road near Carey Avenue and Lamb Boulevard. Police responded to reports of a shooting and located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital, according to Metro. They did not list his condition.

Officers believe this is an isolated incident.

A suspect was later taken into custody, police said.
