The Indiana Political Organization for Women’s Education and Representation (POWER) Caucus is now accepting applications for its scholarship program.

The scholarship awards $1,000 to a Hoosier woman pursuing higher education through a non-traditional path. It aims to support women returning to school after a break to earn an undergraduate or graduate degree. The selection often focuses on candidates passionate about community betterment.

Eligible applicants must be 25 or older and currently enrolled or recently accepted to an Indiana college or university. Applications are due by Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at midnight CST. Late submissions will not be accepted.
