Halifax has spelled out the rules for customers needing to view certain account details. A customer posed a question on social media, asking: "Am I able to just go into a branch and get a paper statement straight away?"

In response, Halifax explained: "Yes, my colleagues in branch can print up to three months of statements for you." This caused confusion for the customer as they had heard differently.

The customer then asked if they could actually receive the paperwork immediately over the counter. They claimed they had read online that some banks only allow customers to order statements in the branch and not actually print them off there and then.

Addressing this, Halifax offered further guidance, stating: "Yes, branches can print statements. They can print up to a maximum
