Actor Tim Curry has shared the cherished memories he holds from both living in and returning to Plymouth. In a new interview, The Rocky Horror Picture Show’s Frank-N-Furter star said he and his mother established a tradition at one of Plymouth’s most popular spots after they reconciled.
While the pair had a turbulent relationship during his upbringing, Tim said he eventually empathised with her after learning about her tricky childhood.
From then on, whenever the actor came back to the UK from America, he'd check on his mother as well as his sister.
Speaking to The Guardian , Tim said he and his, now late, mother regularly stayed "at a fancy hotel on Plymouth Hoe ".
