Jammu, Oct 14 — A man critically injured in a domestic cylinder blast at his residence in Nagrota Sandhwan on September 28 has succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, police said on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Om Prakash, 44, son of Thoru Ram. The explosion also injured his wife, Kamla Devi (39), and daughter, Khushi Devi, who were hospitalized alongside him.

All three sustained burn injuries when an LPG cylinder exploded inside their house. Om Prakash had been battling for life for over two weeks before his death.

Police have initiated inquest proceedings under Section 194 of the BNSS, and an Executive Officer has been assigned to carry out further investigations into the incident.
