Jammu, Oct 14 — Western Army commander Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar on Tuesday warned that Operation Sindoor 2.0 will be “deadlier” than earlier retaliatory action and said Pakistan, though lacking the capacity to fight a full-scale war with India, may again attempt Pahalgam‑type strikes.
Replying to reporters, Lt Gen Katiyar said India’s response “this time will be deadlier than the past” and stressed that the Army is fully prepared to deal with recurring threats. “The action we will take this time will be deadlier than the past. It would be more powerful… There is no doubt about it,” he said.
