MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Two have been arrested in Minot after one man allegedly brandished a loaded gun, causing a local business to go on lockdown.

Minot police responded early Saturday morning to reports of a man with a firearm in a truck stop parking lot. The individual was allegedly making threats and attempting to provoke customers inside the restaurant.

Officers arrived around 4:13 a.m. and located three people inside a nearby vehicle. All occupants were detained for investigation.

Authorities determined one man had loaded and brandished a handgun, prompting an employee to lock down the business out of fear for safety. The firearm was later recovered from the vehicle.
