Police are on the hunt for the driver of a small red car that deliberately rammed into a man in the Drumchapel area on Monday afternoon.

The incident happened at around 1pm on Monday, October 13, when a car struck a 51-year-old man on Dalsetter Avenue. The driver had already left the scene by the time emergency services arrived.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, the extent of his injuries is unknown. No other injuries were reported.

As reported on Glasgow Live, the neighbourhood has been the focus of other police activity in recent days. Forensic officers were seen searching a home in Drumchapel linked to the Daniel crime clan after a horror attack left a man in hospital just days before on October 10.
