Jonathan Ross has made a surprise admission about appearing on The Celebrity Traitors.

The 64-year-old broadcaster was chosen as one of the Traitors by host Claudia Winkleman in the first series of the showbiz spin-off of the BBC reality show, which started last week.

But Jonathan has admitted that he found it unsettling lying to his celebrity friends. Speaking on his Reel Talk podcast with his daughter, Honey, Jonathan said: "I know they're already planning a second celebrity version.

"I know because I've had two celebrity friends of mine call and say, 'I've been approached – is it good to do, is it bad to do?' So I'm giving them the benefit of my experience, which was I didn't enjoy it."
