Cristiano Ronaldo has been tipped for a sensational Manchester United return – in the boardroom.

United legend Ronaldo turned 40 earlier this year but is still playing for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr and Portugal, with the forward eyeing a sixth World Cup next summer.

But Ronaldo's former United team-mate Wes Brown said he can see the global superstar one day returning to Old Trafford in a executive capacity, helping to lead the fallen giants back to the success they enjoyed with him as a player.
