The Allahabad High Court has ordered the detention of SP Farrukhabad Arti Singh. Justice JJ Munir's court issued this order while hearing a habeas corpus case. However, the police did not take her into custody. The SP is accused of threatening the petitioner and keeping 2 people in illegal detention.

Preeti Yadav and two others had filed a habeas corpus petition in court. The hearing took place on Tuesday. During the hearing, the court said - No police officer will contact petitioner Preeti Yadav. Neither will any threats be given nor will there be any harassment.
