WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio is expected to be at the WWE Performance Center this week as he continues to work towards being medically cleared for a return to the ring. According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite , the popular WWE star will be at the company’s training facility in Orlando, Florida, a significant step in his recovery process.

Mysterio has been out of action since April 2025, when he suffered a torn groin and a ruptured eardrum, injuries that required surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation period. His presence at the Performance Center strongly indicates that he is in the final stages of his recovery and could return to WWE television soon.
