I blame the kids, yes — and yet, I don’t. I blame poverty, despair and hopelessness more so. Were they stealing money from the cash box? No.

They were stealing stuff that you put in your body, so as to numb your mind.

Don’t be deceived by the outward shows of opulence and “the good life” — look at the rottenness behind the veneer. Look at the terrible examples the adult world sets up for our young people to emulate.

Kids are not born bad — they are made so. Kids acting out is symptomatic of a sick society. Time to review our values, folks, and time to think about what really matters.
