Hollywood Markets upped its discounts at its soon-to-close Troy location.

The "Troy Store Closing Sale" now offers 30% all groceries, such as dry and packaged goods, frozen, dairy, produce and health and beauty items, the owners announced in a Facebook post. What the discount excludes is deli, meat, beer, wine, liquor and tobacco.

Owners of the family-owned metro Detroit grocery stores announced on Oct. 6 that the Troy location will close and thanked customers for their support. Other Hollywood Markets are in Madison Heights, Royal Oak, and Bloomfield Hills.

Family-owned for decades, the owners cited "intense competition" in deciding to close the Troy location.
