LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A clerk with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office was arrested on a warrant for unauthorized access to computer systems or networks, the sheriff’s office said.

According to a news release, the arrest followed an investigation that began on Oct. 1 when the sheriff’s office received allegations that Hannah Colon, 30, was abusing her access to restricted law enforcement databases. She was assigned as a clerk in the Criminal Investigations division and accessed sensitive databases on her assigned desktop computer outside the scope of her employment.
