ROGERS, Texas — A Central Texas man has been indicted on three charges of manslaughter in connection with a March crash that killed three members of the McCaffety family .
Court records show 26-year-old Jordan Johnson was arrested on Aug. 24, 2025, in connection with the crash that killed 16-year-old Connor McCaffety, 43-year-old Clint McCaffety and 39-year-old Meghan McCaffety. Johnson was released the same day on a $180,000 bond.
According to the probable cause affidavit signed by Cpl. Trey Smith of the Texas Department of Public Safety, Johnson was driving a big rig when he passed multiple warning signs and rumble strips in a construction zone.
