The holiday long weekend saw two people charged with impaired driving, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
According to the Lennox and Addington OPP, both charges stem from complaints from community members.
The first call came in on Oct. 10 shortly after 7 p.m. Officers were called to Loyalist Township during which the suspect returned to the location and was arrested.
Thirty-six-year-old Aleena Zylstra of Kingston has been charged with:
Two counts of assault;
Five counts utter threats to cause death;
Three counts assault a peace officer;
Resist peace officer;
Failure or refusal to comply with demand.
The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee for a bail hearing on Oct. 14. Zylstra’s driver’s licence was a
