ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- Mayor Pam Bobst is urging drivers to use caution when visiting the area near the city’s service garage in the coming months.
The Rocky River Fire Department has relocated to the service garage on Lake Road, across from Bradstreet’s Landing Park.
The department will be located there for the next 12 to 14 months while the fire station next to City Hall is demolished and rebuilt.
Residents visiting the service garage area will find directional markings on the driveway and parking lots around the service garage, Bobst said during her address to the City Council Monday night (Oct. 13).
“Those are directional arrows so that you don’t meet a fire truck coming down the hill that’s being dispatched,” Bobst said.
