CLEVELAND, Ohio — Northeast Ohio will enjoy another mild, mostly sunny day Tuesday before a cold front sweeps through, sending temperatures tumbling back to near or slightly below normal by midweek.

The front will move south across the region overnight Tuesday into early Wednesday, with little to no rain expected, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland . A few passing clouds or isolated sprinkles could accompany the front around daybreak Wednesday, but most spots will stay dry.

Afternoon highs Tuesday will reach the upper 60s to near 70 degrees inland, with cooler readings along the lakeshore where a light north breeze develops. Skies will turn partly cloudy overnight as the front approaches, with lows dipping into the upper 40s to near 50.
