DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - As we get ready to head into the busy holiday season, Amazon is asking for your help as it’s looking to hire seasonal workers.

The online retail giant announced it is hiring 250,000 seasonal positions nationwide, including more than 15,000 here in Minnesota.

Amazon will post weekly job openings through December, including regular, full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions within Amazon’s fulfillment and transportation network across the United States.

These roles offer flexible scheduling options with pay starting at $19 an hour.

Amazon opened its new distribution center in Duluth earlier this year, located in the city’s Atlas Industrial Park on the western outskirts of the city.
