NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Crews are on the scene cleaning up after a bakery caught fire in Antioch on Tuesday afternoon.

Workers there confirmed to WSMV4 that the fire was extinguished quickly and no injuries were reported.

There are three businesses in the 2700 block of Murfreesboro Pike: two bakeries and an Egyptian restaurant.

Witnesses at the scene of the fire told WSMV4 crews that three families rely on these businesses for their livelihoods.

The fire is believed to be accidental in nature.

Traffic impacts

The Nashville Department of Transportation reported traffic backups as a result of the fire response.

NDOT reported all lanes blocked on Murfreesboro Pike in the area, as of about 4 p.m.
