NEW STANTON, Pa. —

Traffic was backed up for hours after a tractor-trailer overturned along a busy interstate in Westmoreland County on Tuesday evening.

Our news partners at the Trib reported that the incident occurred near the I-70 westbound exit in New Stanton along the Pennsylvania Turnpike just after 5:30 p.m. Advertisement

Westmoreland County dispatchers told the Trib that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

PennDOT cameras showed a traffic backup on the Turnpike at the New Stanton interchange.

Dispatchers told the Trib that the long traffic backup was due to the crash and construction on the Turnpike.

A reopening time was unknown. The ramp was still closed as of 8:18 p.m. Tuesday night.
