Two Women Arrested After Dog Set on Fire in South Carolina
A heartbreaking case of animal cruelty in Union County, South Carolina, has left an entire community outraged and demanding justice. Authorities confirmed that two women have been arrested after allegedly setting a dog on fire, killing the helpless animal in what officials are calling a “deeply disturbing” act.
According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, the attack occurred on the night of October 10th. Investigators determined that the suspects intentionally set the dog on fire, and despite the animal’s desperate fight to survive, it did not make it. Both women were charged with ill treatment of animals and taken into custody shortly afterward.
The investigation began after witnesses reported a disturbance involving a dog.
