BUFFALO, S.C. (WBTV) - Two women were arrested after they allegedly set a dog on fire and killed it this past week in South Carolina.
Sister-station WHNS reported that the women -- 26-year-old Cassidi Bailey Hyatt and 28-year-old Jada Rogers -- lit the dog on fire on Friday, Oct. 10 along in Union County, S.C.
Arrest warrants obtained by revealed the woman poured gasoline on the dog and set it on fire.
It was unclear what type of dog was involved, or if it was theirs.
Union County jail records showed Hyatt and Rogers were arrested two days later, and were both charged with ill treatment of animals/torture. They were still in jail as of this writing, both under a $10,000 bond.
According to South Carolina , the women could spend up to five years in prison and could be subject to a
