NEW ORLEANS —

Mayor-elect Helena Moreno says she is committed to urgency and accountability, with plans to take action within her first 100 days.

"It has to be about having a real reset around our city services,” said Moreno.

Moreno shared her first plans once she takes office.

"It’s making sure that we keep our street lights on, that our traffic lights work, getting our street maintenance program going,” said Moreno.

With her official inauguration day months away, Moreno says she's not wasting any time.

"I’m just really working non-stop right now to get ready for this transition and make sure that on day one, I am ready to take office,” said Moreno.
