TYLER, Texas — After being missing for four months, one East Texas woman's dog, Domingo, is finally back in the arms of his owner.

Nancy Lindsay lost Domingo after he slipped out one afternoon, but with the help of the community and social media they were able to be reunited.

Domingo slipped out of the backyard in June after while her caretaker was cleaning. Within minutes, he was gone.

“For a month straight, I was looking every night,” she said. “I just figured he was gone and prayed that somebody good was taking care of him.

Her search was limited, since Lindsay is terminally ill with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, high blood pressure and diabetes. Doctors said she had little time left back in 2020.
