Authorities in Bethel are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in the middle of a road.

Bethel Police say 36-year-old Jilann Brown was found Sunday in the area of Kwethluk Lane and Napakiak Drive.

Police have not released details on how she died, but they are treating the case as a homicide.

Officials say the investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been reported at this time.
