New Jersey voters have begun to cast their ballots in the 2025 election for governor.

Who's running for NJ governor?

The voters will pick a new governor on Nov. 4. After competitive primaries for both parties, the Democrats nominated U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill and the Republicans picked former Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli.

Both candidates have spent time talking to voters throughout the state and will be doing more of that, as well as spending on a slew of ads on television and social media and literature in mailboxes.

There are a few important dates for residents to keep track of as Election Day creeps closer.
