GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – A new grocery store is set to open Wednesday morning in the Carnes Crossroads community.

Publix Super Market will welcome customers during its grand opening celebration beginning at 7 a.m.

The new store is more than 48,000 square feet and will employ roughly 140 people.

Shoppers can visit the new store at 2700 N Main Street in The Market Place at Carnes Crossroads.
