After another day of 80° weather here in Indianapolis on Tuesday, we'll cool down slightly for highs Wednesday. However, this is still above normal for this time of the year! A sprinkle or two is possible across our northern counties today, hence the 10% precipitation chance as seen below.

Through the end of the work week, our temperatures will remain above normal. More days in the 70s are forecast. However, it wouldn't surprise me if we had a few spots approach 80° again by Saturday. Increased SW winds will be responsible for that. October does average three days of 80s throughout the month. Tuesday marked the 7th day of 80s this month. We've seen 80s as late as November 1st, 1950.
