As Mark Logullo would say—His final lap around the sun came to an end on Sept. 1, 2025.

Mark was born in Chicago but moved to Huntington Beach, California, as a young boy, where he spent his childhood and youth. While Mark loved to tell stories of his times as a beach boy, his mother had told him, “Oh Marko, you were born 150 years too late. You were meant to be a mountain man;” and a mountain man he became.

Mark traded the ocean for rivers and lakes when he moved to the mountains of Idaho with Suzy and their three children, Sean, Aurya and Elysa, to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city so that three children could be kids and free.
