A Pennsylvania man is facing multiple charges, including DUI, after fleeing the scene of a wrong way, head-on collision on Route 2 in East Hartford on Sunday.
Troopers responded to a wrong way crash on Route 2 East near Exit 2B around 3:51 a.m. on Sunday, according to Connecticut State Police .
State police said a 20-year-old woman from Glastonbury was traveling eastbound on Route 2 in a Hyundai Elantra when she was struck head-on by a Jeep Wrangler going the wrong way.
The Jeep driver then allegedly fled the scene, according to state police.
The Hyundai driver reported injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital for treatment, state police said.
