ATLANTA — Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department's Larceny Unit are requesting the public's help in identifying a suspect.

On Oct 14, around 8:43 a.m. at 284 Glenwood Avenue SE, officers say they responded to a call of an unidentified man walking on a porch, breaking into a mailbox, and stealing the items inside.

The theft was caught on a Ring camera.

The victim, who called and reported the theft, told officers the suspect fled the scene on foot.

The suspect can be seen in Ring video footage and has distinctive facial tattoos.
