LEDYARD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Ledyard Animal Control is seeking information after two cats were found in a laundry basket Tuesday in Ledyard.

The cats were discovered sometime after 12:30 p.m. and before 3 p.m. on Long Cove Road, animal control officials said.

Officials with animal control are asking owners to sign them over so they can obtain information and have them adopted quickly.

If anyone recognizes the cats, animal control officials advise contacting the non-emergency line and asking to speak with an ACO at 860-464-6400.
