RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav filed his nomination from the Raghopur Assembly constituency on Wednesday amid a large gathering of supporters. He was accompanied by his parents, former chief ministers Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi.

“People of Raghopur have shown trust in me twice. I have been contesting elections from this constituency and will continue to do so,” Tejashwi said after filing his nomination papers.

Taking a jibe at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi said, “Nitish is not running the JD(U) anymore.”

He alleged that the party is now being controlled by Lalan Singh, Sanjay Jha, and Vijay Choudhary, suggesting a growing rift between Nitish Kumar and JD(U) leaders. “These three leaders have been sold to the BJP and have destroyed Nitish Kumar,” Tejashwi claimed.
