CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — The father of 6-month-old Nnakai Pratt is due in court Wednesday morning, following on the body of the baby boy being found the night before.

Antonio Pearce currently faces charges unrelated to Nnakai's case, and is set to be in court at 11 a.m. Jail records indicate he faces a new charge of false statement; it's unclear if his first appearance Wednesday will address that new charge at all.

The news came out Tuesday night from the Clayton County Medical Examiner's Office that the baby boy's body was found, following a three-day search after he was first reported missing on Sunday. Clayton County Police so far are not providing any additional details about the discovery, saying the investigation remains active and ongoing and "once verified information is available
