A gang from Birmingham who used a pressure cooker to import hundreds of pounds worth of heroin have been put behind bars.

The gang used to kitchen implement to stuff it with more than £280,000 of heroin in its walls in a bid to get it into the UK.

But customs officers intercepted the parcel on Monday, July 24, 2023.

They removed the drugs, but then allowed the parcel to be delivered to its destination, a business in Formans Road in Sparkhill .

The package was picked up by Abid Iqbal, who was then arrested along with his associates Fasheeh Ahmed and Muhammad Awais.
