A man has been rushed to hospital and is in a 'serious condition' after being struck by a vehicle at a capital showroom.

The incident took place at Arnold Clark's Kia garage on Seafield Road at around 3pm on Tuesday October 14.

Following the collision, the male was rushed by ambulance to Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary where medics described his condition as 'serious.'

Police say the Health and Safety Executive was notified and an investigation is underway.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3pm on Tuesday, 14 October 2025, police were called to a car showroom on Seafield Road, Edinburgh where a man had been injured by a vehicle within the premises.

"The man has been taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where staff describe his condition as serious.
