ST. HELENA ISALND, Ga. (WTOC) - The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is giving an update on the investigation of the mass shooting on St. Helena Island early Sunday, October 12.

FULL BREAKDOWN: Mass shooting on St. Helena Island: at least 20 injured, including 4 dead

20 people were shot. 4 were killed, and 4 others were place in critical condition.

The Sheriff called the scene ‘horrific’ and ‘senseless.’

Hundreds of people attended the “function” before the event occurred. The Sheriff says they are interviewing “anyone and everyone” to learn more about the incident.

The Sheriff says there were “two, possibly three” people in the crowd who had an “ongoing feud” with each other.
