HAMPTON COUNTY, SC. (WTOC) - The Hampton County Sheriff’s Office said they are in urgent need of fosters after an animal cruelty arrest.
An operation conducted by the sheriff’s office Wednesday, ended in the arrest of an individual for animal cruelty and neglect.
During this operation, a large number of dogs were rescued and given to the care of the Hampton County Animal Shelter.
Due to the massive intake, the shelter is full and now in urgent need of foster homes to help.
The sheriff’s office is asking anyone who can foster or give assistance to contact the Hampton County Animal Shelter at 803-914-2269 right away.
“Any help from the community would be greatly appreciated during this critical time,” wrote the sheriff’s office.
