Inquiries are ongoing into the tragic death of a baby which led to four arrests. Police and paramedics were seen at Hillingdon Road area in the Park End area of Middlesbrough on Saturday, June 7.
An air ambulance was seen landing on a green space next to Hillingdon Road, Highmead and Lowmead Walks and Southmead Avenue. Police later confirmed a baby had sadly died .
A resident living nearby said the baby was a little boy and just a few months old. As reported, four people were arrested by Cleveland Police after the incident .
A 21-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing the death of a child. A 19-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of child neglect.
