WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Oct. 15 is National Cheese Curd Day, and as expected, multiple restaurants across our area are celebrating.

Culver's is introducing their all-new Jalapeño Cheese Curds made with bits of jalapenos and real cheddar cheese.

They'll be available through Oct. 31 or while supplies last.

And Milwaukee's Lakefront Brewery will be celebrating from 2-9 p.m., with three specialty cheese curds available.

They include a Chicken N' Waffle Curd, French Onion Curds, and Caramel Apple Cheesecake Curds, all potential Curd of the Month options for 2026.

Lakefront's Cheese Curd Pull Competition is also making a return. Teams of two choose the "stretchiest" curd from the basket and test it at the pull markers. The team with the longest string from each contest will
