HINESVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - The Liberty County School System experienced a school bus fire Wednesday morning.

The fire happened after a bus stop at Savannah Technical College. The fire started when the back tire blew.

When the fire happened, there were no students onboard and no injuries have been reported. The bus driver is also safe.

Local fire and emergency responders were dispatched to extinguish the fire.

The Liberty County School System says they are coordinating with fire, safety and transportation officials to investigate the incident.
