FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Most of the rain this morning was light and scattered, but still welcomed across the area after a cold front crossed overnight. We will stay cloudy, cooler, and dry for the rest of the day. Temperatures dropped about 10 degrees from yesterday as a result of the front, but we will sit right where our average highs typically are for this time of year.

We are continuing to track that other cold front set to arrive this weekend. Current model projections are delaying the arrival of showers until late Saturday. Rain will mainly impact any Sunday plans, so have an umbrella handy. Our drought conditions will be updated tomorrow and after another dry week it is safe to assume worsening conditions this week, but with those rain chances in the forecast this weekend, we cou
