BELTON, Texas — Actor Rudy Youngblood, known for his role as Jaguar Paw in Mel Gibson's 'Apocalypto', was arrested early Wednesday at Lake Belton on an outstanding warrant for family violence assault, police said.

According to the Belton Police Department, an officer stopped to speak with the owner of a vehicle parked near a Lake Belton boat ramp at about 12:20 a.m. Oct. 15. During the encounter, officers discovered Youngblood had an active warrant issued by the Travis County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities stated that the warrant was for assault of a family/household member with impeding breathing or circulation.

Officers also found a "white crystalline substance" on Youngblood during the arrest, authorities said. He was booked into Bell County Jail and faces additional charges pending t
