A Coatbridge actor has watched her big screen debut at her local cinema — surrounded by 70 friends and members of her family.

Andrea Bisset plays a significant role in the new film I Swear , which tells the story of Scottish Tourette’s campaigner John Davidson. Young actor Andrea, who also has Tourette’s, has several hilarious, stand-out moments in the film.

She plays John’s friend Lucy, who is introduced to John when her parents try to make her feel less alone in her condition. The pair meet in the back of her parents car, and almost immediately trigger each other into a torrent of insults and other explicit remarks.

After a minute or so, they look at each other and share a laugh.
