Glaswegians are sought for a “unique and exciting” job opportunity — to become Finnie, the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games mascot.

Successful applicants would become mascot performers for Finnie, described as a “proud Glaswegian unicorn”, during the games next summer. Finnie will be one of the most visible and beloved symbols of the Games , and talented, energetic performers are sought to step into the suit and bring Finnie to life.

The performer will be tasked with “embodying the character and personality of Finnie” at live events, fan zones, schools, community activations, and across key moments during the Games. Finnie will be spreading excitement, and creating memorable, joyful experiences, all without saying a single word.
