Police have launched an investigation into an alleged hate crime in Hamilton .
Officers said two teenage girls shouted racially abusive comments towards a man before making off from the area.
The incident occurred at a supermarket in the Hamilton Retail Park on Douglas Park Lane at around 9.20pm on Sunday, October 12.
Officers are treating the incident as a hate crime and are seeking the two girls.
The first girl is described as having blonde hair and wearing a full black tracksuit, and black Converse shoes with white soles.
The second girl is described as having brown or blonde hair with grey highlights and wearing an olive bomber jacket, a grey tracksuit and grey trainers.
